‘Tis the season! Join local glass artist Maelyn Heskett at The Culinary Cottage to create two of your own fused glass holiday ornaments. During this workshop, you will pick your favorite holiday shape base and then design your ornaments with a variety of glass dots, stringers, and other glass tidbits. The workshop will include a brief demonstration followed by two hours of open craft time to create your ornaments. No glass cutting is required for his workshop.
Holiday treats and cocoa will be provided by The Culinary Cottage.
All supplies and PPE will be provided. Closed toed shoes required. This workshop is open to anyone 13+.
Madelyn will take your ornaments back to her studio to kiln fire them and attach a ribbon to hang. Ornaments will be returned to The Culinary Cottage, available for pick up 1 week after the workshop date.
Location: 315 S. Monroe St. (entrance off of Adams St., nestled between the Adams St. Chophouse and Grace Episcopal Church).
Parking: Street parking and in the church lot across the street.
